Hi dear, please present yourself in a few  words

Hello Beautiful,

My name is Tamara Lynn, I’m an award winning lecturer, author, speaker and performance coach. I’ve been called passionate yet unapologetic. I love standing on the vanguard for equality, while Jontay Deaira calls me Mommy.

What woman inspires you and why?

This is difficult, as there are many women that have and still inspire me to this day. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize Harriet Tubman for her unselfish work and sacrifices. She carried an overwhelming burden in her soul, as you knew there was more to life than living in bondage.

What was one of the most empowering experiences you’ve had in your life?

At this juncture in my life’s journey, I would say evolving from a deficit mindset and embracing my purpose. Moreover, accepting my “why” by mastering the language of freedom.

What words of advice or encouragement would you have for today’s young women?

I think advice is overrated. Thus, I would encourage young women of today to care less about being careful and welcome bravery. I would invite them to embrace their calling by creating from a place of pain and frustration. By putting their passions forward.

What does womanhood mean to you?

Womanhood for me isn’t the traditional definition that’s associated with gender roles. It’s a quiet grace and confidence that possesses love, warmth, camaraderie and strength. It’s being liberated from societal norms while daring to change the world and be of service to all human-kind.

Thank you so much for your time and sharing those encouraging words! Where can we keep up with you online?

Much thanks and gratitude to you Claudrine for this warm invitation. This platform is an amazing example of “Collaboration is the new competition.” To learn more about MEE, please visit my website and or follow on Instagram @libherated_women.
